DISTRIBUTION : OUR INSTAGRAM

Here is an image of the instagram page which I made to further the distribution of our film, raising awareness for it, prior and after release. This Instagram page will let our target audience see important information about our film such as release date, or important updates about production. This lets our target audience feel more involved in the production of our film until the release, this will make our audience feel more involved in the process and growth of the film, making them more inclined and excited to see the movie.

Our film production team is aware that the target audience for a film about a young man and rugby is likely to be predominantly male. However, in the same way as 'Star Trek' designed their most recent P&A in order to attract the female demographic which traditionally did not turn out for 'Start Trek' movies, we think that we can reach female audiences through Instagram. This is because many young women in particular use Instagram for fashion and lifestyle reasons. I have also noticed that film fans use Instagram to build collections of fan pictures e.g. hashtag wolverine. In addition many film fans like using Instagram to recreate particular, specific 'looks' in order to mimic their favourite directors, I found this from www.vulture.com.
